Angelina's does a great job in creating the small town east coast Italian dining experience. Bob always takes the time to welcome his guests and does a great job getting to know his clients. The food is exceptional!!

I have read all of the reviews..and to me, it is a bit strange that people either hate it or it has no faults at all....kind of like perhaps maybe the owner as well has the staff have come in and made positive comments. I would just like to say to the restauranteurs that you should listen to critical reveiws and improve things ! Not just ignore them and fluff the reveiws up yourselves ! Fresh Italian is the best way to go ! Get a fantasic cook/chef in your kitchen and improve your customer service! How hard is it to make good Italian food? Not hard. Perhaps I will visit when I see a real review...where someone expounds the improvements in service and quality. Until then, I would be a bit wary.

I think that Jerr JP was on crack when he ate here. He should go back to dining at McDonalds and Taco Bell. This place is charming. The owner/chef is a story by himself. He used to operate 6 restaurants in NY. I don't think $20 is outrageous at all for the food you get. Jerr JP should go to Home Depot and get a Polish dog if he doesn't want to pay for fine cuisine. There is great array of Italian entrees on the menu. The food was very good, and the servers are very friendly and efficient. It's too bad that Jerr JP had a bad experience. I have always enjoyed the service. It's an adventure whenever we eat at Angelina's because there are so many good choices on the menu. The restaurant itself is very clean with unique decoration. You need to ask about the mural on the wall. The restrooms are also very clean and very well appointed.

I reviewed this restaurant some years ago on this site. Nothing has changed! My wife and I have dined there almost weekly for the past 12 years. Food is still wondeful and fresh. Prices have raised very little in past 12 years but of course are up a reasonable amount. It's a family operation. The kids are the servers along with Mom. The owner/chef is the husband. They are not very friendly by American standards and only the kids are fluent in English. Have not seen the crankiness in recent years [that I mentioned in my previous review]. Excellent value and truly fine food. [ I wish they'd have enough marketing sense to take down the beat up blinds and dress up the restrooms a bit. But the food and kitchen seem to be clean]

After going to this restaurant for many (8) years, since it was only a small take-out establishment a few doors down from where it is now, the food quality and service has gone from good food, abrupt New York-ish stand-off attitude to poor food and same or worse attitude. The prices have increased, the portions decreased, the ?my way or the highway? attitude of the owner is, in my opinion driving business away. You use to get a decent sausage sandwich (2 full links / 4 half pieces) for $6, now you get 3 pieces (1/4 link each piece) for $9.85. I would not be surprised to see Bob out of business within the next 12 months. I/we dine out at least 3 nights a week and after my last three experiences here (I figured I would give Bob the benefit of the doubt for having a bad day), I will never return. Part of the issue is with the turn-over in his staff causing inconsistency, which is hard for him to keep because of his demanding stand-offish attitude.
