With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, more than one million twinkling lights illuminate the beauty of a charming forest path at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. A children's play area - including a treehouse - will be included along the trail path. Tour a restored 1880s homestead that will be decorated in a charming Colorado country Christmas motif. Blossoms of Light will not be open at Denver Botanic Gardens downtown York Street location this holiday season due to construction of a new parking structure and Visitor Center scheduled to open in Spring 2009. Blossoms of Light will return to the York Street location for the 2009 holiday season.
Denver Botanic Gardens has been a favorite Denver destination for 50 years. Art and science unite in the gardens’ spectacular 23-acre site, offering an unforgettable experience for the whole family, as well as a living laboratory for education and plant conservation programs.
